Description
A unique blend of star trails, HDR lunar photography, and false color imaging, "Outrun Selene" is this astrophotographer's tribute to synthwave. The lunar image is captured in ultraviolet and infrared light to enhance the color separation between the elements on the surface, while the color palette on the star trails was shifted to match. While I would consider this more of an art piece, the data and science behind it is real. The final composite image is 69 megapixels, so no shortcuts were taken with the quality to achieve the final result.
