Description
Niño Caboclo, Caboclo Child, is an image captured in the Amazon rainforest.
It allows to my album series of "People" that I capture in my travels.
The cablocos are a mestizo population that arose from the crossing of whites with indigenous people. Together with the indigenous, black African and European slaves, they made up the base society in the Amazon region in colonial and post-colonial times. The largest number of caboclos live in the northern region of Brazil, mainly in the Amazon.
The caboclos are great connoisseurs of the waterways and skilled canoeists. They were also given the name “jacamaúbas”.
